Your garden is looking lovely. I am intrigued by your nettle infusion. How do you make it? I have been trying nettle tea these last few days – just adding boiling water to nettles and it is quite pleasant to drink.

I used to just use nettles in soup mostly or tea even, but then my naturopath gave me this idea, to make a nettle infusion which does not involve cooking the nettle so it is good I guess as any vitamins would stay in it. The infusion is made by steeping about one ounce or 1 cup of dried nettles in 1 liter of water, you pour it over while boiling and then leave it stand for about 4 or 5 hours or overnight, then strain and drink a cup over the day. The left over you sore in a well closing jar in the fridge. I found it tasted really nice. I am taking it to increase my mineral intake.

I agree and am delighted that the earth gives us this opportunity to heal naturally, at least it heals the soul and so that helps along the body.
