“Be empty of worrying. Think of who created thought! Why do you stay in prison when the door is so wide open? Move outside the tangle of fear-thinking. Live in silence. Flow down and down in always widening rings of being.”

Wow. It’s nice to encounter posts like these! I’ve had my own share of writings. I hope you read them and tell me what you think. English is not my native language but I hope you can give me an advice. I aim to be better at writing in English 🙂

Thank you Mitzi, this rose bush also is still producing lots of roses, they started to bloom late in the year. And yes I too love Rumi’s words.

Yes we need to separate emotion from thought and know that our thoughts will certainly influence and create what surrounds us.

Rumi’s message pierced the boundaries of its age, and reached millions of today’s generations who found in his poetry a clear example of modesty, beauty, tolerance, and reason. Rumi’s is the best-selling poet in the United States. A clear indication of how universal his message was. It wasn’t for Muslims, or Christians, or Jews, or non-believers, but directed to the whole lot of them.

Yes that is true. And here in Europe Rumi is also a very popular poet, at least among educated people who love his works.
