A well known Irish blessing I would like to share with all my family, friends and followers.
“May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.“
thank you!

We are very familiar with it over here. The blessing is very comforting.

It is and I guess it has been translated from the Irish language which (I don’t know) is very lyrical from what I have read about it and seen in translations.

It probably came over with all the Irish immigrants. I have a few of those in my family line.

It must be lovely to know the Gaelic and read the blessing in the original language.
