A most beautiful surprise this morning.  Our little Christmas tree, which is alive, gave us some lovely tender young cones!  So this Korean Fir is doing well and healthy, and producing more growth, very pleased about that.  On the seventh all the decorations are coming off it and then I will keep it inside to make sure that it survives the winter.  It’s been a lovely experience having this life tree in the house, and this morning we were both so happy to see these lovely young cones.

    1. Yes James, exactly my feelings too about Christmas tree Depot! Have a live tree is so lovely, it’s like having another member of the family take part in the celebrations 🙂

    1. Yes it is lovely and I am going to keep it in the house for a while, then put it outside, but tend to it carefully as I want it to survive 🙂

  1. What a great gift!! I would be delighted to have that happen, so glad you shared. I have never been comfortable with a cut tree for Christmas but was always overruled by my family. This year, for the first time I went with a ‘recycled’ fake one. I embraced the fakeness of it and it is white and sparkly, lol. Live trees here, according to my research, is not an option. So glad it was for you and so successful!

    1. Thank you Cynthia, yes I am very happy with that little tree. I’m also glad that you can appreciate the recycled fake one, it is so good to recycle and very valuable too. So the Christmas period is over again tomorrow, taking everything down, and letting the tree live in the house for a while but due to the mild winter I think that I could soon put it outside.

  2. Thank you so very much for the wonderful photographs. I have never seen in my entire life a cone just so recently birthed. This is truly a first for me, and an absolutely delightful experience. Thank you again.
